Job Description & Summary

A career within Delivering Deal Value will provide you with the opportunity to help clients achieve maximum value on their deal transactions by solving transformational and other complex challenges. We focus on all operational aspects of a transaction, pre and post completion. We conduct pre deal and confirmatory due diligence, execute large-scale enterprise wide integrations, and support complex divestitures and separations on a wide range of functional and cross-functional areas.

To help our clients, we combine strategic insight, rigorous analysis and in-depth functional HR & Deals expertise with access to PwC's global network specialists.

Purpose-led work you’ll be part of

As a People in Deals (M&A HR) Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

·         Work on a wide variety of interesting, important & challenging projects

·         Partner directly with some of the best and brightest teammates and clients

·         Apply your Human Resources expertise to unique scenarios including mergers, acquisitions, carve-outs, integration, value creation scenarios

·         Execute important work and strategically identify areas of opportunity to ensure our clients are receiving holistic solutions

·         Integrate a people capabilities lens into our end to end client support through coaching, advocacy, and education of stakeholders about the importance of people in deals 

Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve

·         HR experience in several of the following areas: Change Management, Culture, Internal Communications, Org Design, Talent Management, Organizational Development/Effectiveness, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Engagement, HR Business Partner, etc. 

·         Previous experience in M&A, integration, due diligence 

·         Great teammate - A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives. Partnering across service lines, geographies, and functional expertise will be a key to your success

·         Client facing skills - Strong communication (including active listening) and presentation skills 

·         Growth mindset - continuous learning, seek to improve, embrace new ideas, perspectives, technology. An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work

In addition, one or more of the following areas of additional expertise would also be an asset: 

·         Previous experience in professional services/consulting environment

·         Experience with integration &/or large scale transformation programs 

·         Experience with conducting HR due diligence - from a financial & operational perspective and/or from a strategic leadership, talent, organizational culture point of view - Including data requests, management interviews, report development 

·         MBA and/or advanced education would be an asset

·         Multilingual abilities would be a asset
